Things about Parents

Hello there!

Today, while I was sitting at home, I realized something. Although parents are sometimes annoying, and like to instigate, they are truly just looking out for us. Right now, I don't know how I can be complementing them, because I disagree with everything they've done so far.
But, it's made me realize one thing. If anything, there are some important things they have taught me not to do when I'm a parent.

Here's a list of Things About Parents that drive me Insane...

  • Often, when I was a child, I would cry when I was angry or hurt. I wouldn't cry over things that (although may have seemed so) were stupid. I remember working myself into having mini panic attack. I couldn't breathe, and they would just tell me to stop it.
    • "Oh sorry, is my broken-heart'd sobbing annoying you? Let me just stop and make things all better for you!"
  • Another things is, they say things like, "I'm so tired of this house!" or "Everyone can just do whatever they want, I don't care," or my personal favorite, "Nobody respects/loves/cares/thinks about me!"
    • Okay, obviously we care about you. Don't make your problems such a big deal, when you start stuff and bring them up first!
  • Okay, I'll start of saying that I completely agree with the fact that yes, it is your house parents, and yes, you can tell us to do whatever and get whatever to mold us into perfect little human beings, but damn, when you say, "Just do it!" over a pointless thing, and we counter with, "Why?" since it's soooo meaningless and then they say, "Because I said so. I'm the parent! When you're a parent you can do whatever you want!"
    • Alright, first off, I know you're the damn parent! You've made that pretty clear since I was born, but that, however, does not give you a "Pass Jail" card to getting us to do everything for you. 100% of the time, we have no problem helping you parents, getting whatever. It's called a "favor" not a "slave-job."
The list probably continues, but I am just too frazzled to continue. I know that they love me and try to do their best, but COME ON!
Sometimes, and I know I will have to do this as well when I'm a parent, we need to remember what it feels like in these situations, and not put so much stress on our children's lives! Honestly, some parents just...just no.

Chaos'd

Honestly, when I pictured myself writing a book; I never thought I would fall in love with it. I may not be the best writer out there, but I am seriously in-love with this book.
It has taken me on such a ride that I am very thankful for anyone and anything that has helped me get to where we are right now.
So far, we have taken a slight writing break which lasted only a week, on a count of Miranda being sick, but now, Chapter 32,33,34, and 35 are in the process of being done.
I can't wait to see it once it's finished.

Never Post

Honestly, I'll be the first to admit this. It's been a long time since I posted a on this blog. The main reason of having a blog was something to do, but now I've got a lot on my plate.
One of the main things that I have on my plate is my book, Chaos, that I'm writing with one of my best friends Miranda, who I have been trying to convince to get a blog as well, to document the writing process. We have another blog, and you can visit there as well.

    www.oocmbooksoo.blogspot.com

We post rather regularly, usually at least twice a week, but it's tough considering how much work we need to have done.
So far, I've been having fun with it, and I hope to finish it completely.
That is the last I am going to do talk about Chaos, because the other blog does a better job of that.
Another thing I am dealing with is 9th Grade. It's terrible. This year, so much has changed. For example, instead of A,B,C,D grades, we get numbers. So, instead of a nice 'B' I would get a 75% which sucks.
My grades so far are interesting. For instance, in French, a subject I hate, I have a 92%...what? And in science its around 72%. How does that make sense?
I also have to practice guitar everyday, so in the run of a day, I have to study for two hours, write for at least an hour and a half, practice guitar, and do so many other things in between that the only reason I'm writing this right now is because I'm home from school for the day.
Don't get me wrong, I love writing and guitar, they are just very time consuming.
I'm pretty much done my update now, I will post more regularly now that things are a little lets organized.

Bye for now!

Teenage Moments= SUCK

Being a teenager really sucks! I mean, everything everyone does gets on your nerves. Litterly, I just almost had a mental breakdown and scared my parents. My sister's don't help, they seem to make the minor things that get on my nevers, MAJOR thing which bother me...For instance, when my oldest little sister went to trip me, I almost punched her in the face. I mean, is it just me, or do bad things always happen when your in the worst mood's? It could also be because when you are in a bad-mood, everything seems to bother you five times more than if you were happy and normal. I just to get really confused as a kid becuase when I wasn't smiling, my face would be normal, and people would ask me what was wrong all because I wasnt smiling. It seems to me that eveyone in the world is on a mission to piss me off.. Just sayin! There was a massive fight/scream off in the cafeteria today, and everyone is still flipping and making horrible rumors. They made an announcment over the P.A. saying, "ATTENTION! MALE TEACHERS PLEASE COME TO THE CAFETERIA!!!" The secratary seemed frantic and everyone in my class was flipping out. That seemed a little sexist, because the teacher the ended up helping the situation the most was female. Sometimes I wish the people in middle school need to grow the hell up. Really. Sorry for the rant fest of the century there, but I am still very franticly angry for some reason...

Halloween

As you all know, Halloween is coming up soon and I'm not sure what to do as. True, while in Disney World, I DID buy a full Harry Potter brand "Gryffindor" robes, a "Gryffindor" yellow and red scarf, a pin, and I did buy the wands belonging too,

  • Harry Potter
  • Hermione Granger
  • Ginny Weasley
  • Ron Weasley
  • Luna Lovegood
  • Neville Longbottom
But I'm not sure if that'd be cool or not. I mean, I know there are a lot of Harry Potter fans, but wouldn't be nerdy to show up like that? Also, in English on Monday, not only do I have to read one of my stories in-front of the entire class, but I have to dress up like a character from a novel. LOL! My English teacher had no clue I was ten steps ahead of her. Fail...Epic...Is it weird I said both?...Yes...yes, it was...Anyway, weirdness out of the way, I am happy to be back, although its completely frezing here now. DAMN! Goodnight All,

Honorable

I have a guy at my school who has a bunch of friends, a good life, and a great future. This guy, who shall remain nameless, has recently "came out of the closet" on facebook saying he was gay, he also said He knew he would have haters because of it but he didn't care anymore. I don't know this guy too well, but I am completely suprised at his courage and braveness to admit that. Yes, he did remove the post after a couple of days, probably because of his parents or something, but he got so many positave comments that it's so good to see kids today accepting other peoples preferences, and things that make them different. In my opinion, you love who you love and if you should have "haters" because of it, so what? There are so many kids and teenagers out there in the world that are so deep in the closet their in Narnia and there are suicide attemps everywhere because of bullying and being ashamed, and it's good to see a young person like (blank) who isn't afraid to admit to himself and to others who he truly is. I am proud to call him my new friend and because of all the attention that post has gotten and all the positave comments of encouragement and understanding, I don't think he will have a problem when school starts because most of those people have his back. I am truly touched by his courage which is why I am dedicating this post to him. :D Good Luck!
