Honorable

I have a guy at my school who has a bunch of friends, a good life, and a great future. This guy, who shall remain nameless, has recently "came out of the closet" on facebook saying he was gay, he also said He knew he would have haters because of it but he didn't care anymore. I don't know this guy too well, but I am completely suprised at his courage and braveness to admit that. Yes, he did remove the post after a couple of days, probably because of his parents or something, but he got so many positave comments that it's so good to see kids today accepting other peoples preferences, and things that make them different. In my opinion, you love who you love and if you should have "haters" because of it, so what? There are so many kids and teenagers out there in the world that are so deep in the closet their in Narnia and there are suicide attemps everywhere because of bullying and being ashamed, and it's good to see a young person like (blank) who isn't afraid to admit to himself and to others who he truly is. I am proud to call him my new friend and because of all the attention that post has gotten and all the positave comments of encouragement and understanding, I don't think he will have a problem when school starts because most of those people have his back. I am truly touched by his courage which is why I am dedicating this post to him. :D Good Luck!

I am no saint

I am really sorry about not posting things on my blog about my vacation. I was having too much fun...I tubed and had ice-cream and everything. I am home now, and I suprised my family because I told them I'd come home from New Hampshire on Saturday, and I came home on Friday for a suprise. My dad knew and tried to get everyone into the same room for when I aarived but no cigar. My mom didn't come home until 5:00pm from work and I got there at 4:30pm. I found out my dad took my two sisters and two girl cosions which I love and were visiting from New Brunswick for two weeks (I only got to spend 2 days with them) :(... But, they were swiming and were all joyed to see me (is that a word?...) and then I came home with them and suprised my grandmother, mother and older cosion. THE END.

p.s. I'll make a long blog about next week I PROMISE!!!!!

Vacation Time!

Okay, first off, I wanted to say that I am really sorry about the lackage of blog posts but, it think this entry might help...

Okay, so, one night, my mom called Kim and she asked if we wanted to go to a bonfire. We quickly accepted and decided to go and got in the car...after about an hour because Shelbie refused to wake up...sigh...but anyway, when I was there, I had an ear infection and I was laying on the floor, my dad says, "So...which one of you wants to go to New Hampshire with Jody?" I was shocked. One- I didn't know that Aunt Jody was even going on a trip, Two- I didn't want to say no, but I didn't want to say yes either becase I didn't know anything about it and at the time, I was really tired and I was thinking for some odd reason that I would be tired the whole time because I was that exausted from swimming during the day, and Three- I knew that it would be hard to be on the road a lot with my ear...anyway, I thought about it all the time during the bonfire- yes or no, no or yes?

Then Kory, who was believed to be asleep in the house, came running out the back door screaming his head off because he thought his family had left him in alone in the house. It was a sin. That took my mind off Jody and the trip for the rest of the trip. Katie ended up staying at Kim's overnight, and I was alone when dad suddenly popped the question, "So, do you want to go with Jody?" I didn't know what to say so I nodded and tried to look happy. I was scared. He beamed at me and said, "Great! Katie said she'd go too." I nodded. Having Katie with us made me feel happier. I was excited and then Jody called. This is what she said,
"Hey Chrissy...so you and Katie will have to decide who gets the front seat! Oh and by the way, Papa Joe *my grandfather* said he'd give us three hundred dollars and he said he'd give you one hundred dollars to buy some stuff." I was extatic. I told her I'd make a secdual and she said Kay and that was it. I was packing for two weeks so I made a mental note not to leave it until the last minute...

Two days pass...

"I'm not going anymore..." said Kaite while we were at the pool. I felt like strangling her. I told her, "You promiced Jody you'd come! You can't break your promice!" She rolled her eyes, "Come on! Nikki (my cosion) and her two daughters are coming down from New Brunswick next week after you leave. So is aunt Rosie who lives in Ottawa." she told me. I was shaking with fury. I thought it'd be no fun without her! Anyway...boy was I wrong...

I packed the whole day before the trip (yes last minute) and then, I had to wake up at nine in the morning so I could start for Maine in the U.S.A where I would be visiting with my grandmothers neice Jean and her husband Gary... They were over 50 so I was cosious. Anyway, my dad took my luggage out to the car for me and my mother started to tear up saying she didn't want me to go. We said our goodbyes and I left with Jody for Maine. We stopped after three or four hours for lunch at Swis Chalet. I got a hot chicken sandwich with gravy and fries wich I enjoyed very much, then we drove and when we came to this new double highway close to Maine, Jody freaked out because she didn't know where to go and since the highway was new it didn't pick up and the GPS kept saying "Recaculating" over and over again. I calmed her down by saying it must have been new so it didn't pick up; she calmed down and we got there. Jean was really nice and so was Gary. I've been there for three days now and it's Monday and I'm leaving Wednesday and we left last Saturday. I love it here. Jean makes this great Mac and Cheese and it's to die for. We went visiting today and saw a few relitaves like Jeans sister who has this tiny black puppy who it too cute! When he's in your arms, hes soft, calm and cuddily, but when you put him on the floor and he tries to bite you but it's still cute because it dosen't hurt and it really cute and when you pick him up he immeaditly calm's down. SO CUTE!! Then we had Mac and Cheese again and I wrote this. After Wednesday, were driving eight hours to New Hampshire (Kingston) and staying with these people who are apparently really cool and have a boat. Jody said they have a tube attached to it and you try and hang on while the speed boat is moving...I might try it...but maybe not...idk...Well, that's it for now, I'm excited for tomorrow and Wednesday!! Peace Out!!!
Also, I'll write another blog in a few days when I get there or if I choose to do that tubey thinger...I'll tell yu how great it feel's to be on the boat!!

Stroke of Brillance

Look,
I`m like every other teenage girl with a little sister. Mine is 10 and has a little bit of the devil in her.
Today, she was showing off her natural talent to annoy me when I came across the realization that why she`s so screw`d up, is favoritism. I`m not saying my mother loves her more, apparently she loves us all equily, but I am saying that she is spoiled because of my mothers protection of her not getting hurt and giving her thing and letting things go her way because shes the``Baby`` which I totally get, on one level, I know when I have kids, what I`m saying right now wont matter much because I`ll forget how it feel`s to be the older sybling, but all I`m saying is, favoring one kid is like favoring a broken bone- if you favor it, it will never heal properly. This is the same with kids because if you favor them, they wont `heàl` properly, which means, favor a kid, it wont behave right and be spoiled.

Anyway, that was my stroke of brillance for today, peace.
